About the panellists:

Wretch 32: Jermaine Scott, better known by his stage name Wretch 32, is an English rapper and former Grime MC from London whose way with words and ear for a tough, infectious beat and sinuous, memorable melody are guaranteed to bring him to wider attention this year. Wretch brings a dazzling lyricism and poetic resonance to bear on UK rap, borne out of his experiences growing up among the grim high rises of Tottenham’s Tiverton Estate. Signed to Ministry Of Sound/Levels Recordings and with 2 top 10 singles and a number 1 under his belt, he’s about to make a giant splash in the mainstream.

Carla Marie William: Carla-Marie Williams is a songwriter with a voice.  Writing and singing go hand in hand for Carla-Marie she has written and has featured on records alongside acts such as 'Pet Shop Boys', Roll Deep, The Crookers and Kardinal Offishall. Carla-Marie also has numerous accolades under her belt having written four top ten singles for Girls Aloud including the Brit Award winning The Promise and Alesha Dixon’s The Boy Does Nothin. Carla-Marie has also progressed to pastures anew and set up a joint venture production / management company called BigMouthModest with Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee of Modest! (Leona Lewis/ JLS/ Alexandra Burke).

Posty: It takes a certain strength of character to choose grime music over a promising career in law, but then co-founder of GrimeDaily Isaac Hagan aka Posty is not your average guy, afraid to take risks. Hailing from East London, the 24-year-old (along with childhood friend and fellow UK music enthusiast Pierre Godson), set up a website where fans of the emerging grime scene could see footage of the artists. Taking the cameras into their own hands, Posty and Pierre began filming original content to put on their new website, and paradoxically, others began copying them, giving them the content they wanted initially! GrimeDaily is now one of the most popular music websites in the UK.

Jason Maza: Jason Maza has developed an extensive theatre, television and FILM CV that surely makes him one of the most sought after young British actors of his generation. East London born Maza made his debut on UK TV with guest lead appearances in Casualty and Holby City for the BBC. He built on these foundations by securing further lead roles for ITVs, Trial & Retribution and Touch of Frost as well as Channel 4s, Unsinkable Titanic. As a key face within UK television he has now successfully entered the UK film industry having starred in the 2009 British hit films Fish Tank, Shifty and Special People alongside the extremely successful Rise of the Footsoldier.

Zeon Richards - Xyzee Music: A determined entrepreneur with over 6 years of operating in the music industry. What began as a fascination with the Garage scene, Zeon now runs a music management, branding and consultancy company who's roster includes rising star Wretch 32.

Diri Creative Nerds: 18 year old Dirujan Sabesan began his company as a hobby aged 15. Since then the idea of a web design agency has turned from a bedroom dream into an office based design power house. Based in London and in full time education, during the course of setting up and running the business with his co-founder Sam Thornton, Dirujan has worked with the likes of UK artists such as Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz, Ironik, Mike Hough and Bodyrox. Late 2009 he and his co-founder Sam helped build the SB.TV brand online and since then they have grown from strength to strength in working with clients such as Sony Music and Universal Music.
